This nice little village lies near the mouth of the River Piaśnica. For years, it has been a tiny fishing settlement owned by the cloister in Żarnowiec. The village took its name from the name of one of its inhabitants. Already before the war, Dębki was a renown summer resort. After the war, when the town became part of Poland, it was frequented by notables like Józef Haller or Kazimierz Sosnowski.

One of Dębki's peculiarities are its visitors. One may say as well that half of the Warsaw's population move there during summer. To make the visitors from the Polish capital city feel more at home, one of the streets in Dębki was named Marszałkowska, just like one of the main and most busy streets of Warsaw. The street along the sea is called Spacerowa (Stroll Lane) and that's where the evening social life starts. The main attraction of small Dębki is of course its beach. Among few fishing boats you will see sunbathers, very often nudists. Ladies are welcome to take part in annual beauty contest.
Located at the clean and wide beach, far from other settlements, surrounded by beautiful meadows, Dębki is a place to go for summer holidays.
