Every year a number of social events are arranged by local authorities and organisations. The most popular summer events are old sailing boats' race in Chałupy (called Kaszebsczi Bote pod Żoglame in the local language), Eel Feast in Jastarnia, Fishermen's Fete on St. Peter and Paul's day held in Puck, Kashubian Fair in Rewa and a Festival of Kashubian Folk Bands in Wierzchucino. There are also organized summer windsurfing cup, marathon and more... Much modern events are rock concerts in Wladyslawowo or beach sponsored parties, contests, discos etc.
